Southern
  England Kite Group
The
southern england red kite group ( www.sekg.org.uk ) was formed during the re-introduction
programme back in 1997.
It
has been continuously monitoring the progress of the birds and also provided
young chicks for the further introduction projects throughout england and scotland.
If
you would like to report sightings of red kites away from the usual core area
shown grey in the map below, the group would like to hear from you.
Please
report any sighting that can identify a single bird by reading the
          wing tag, see wing
tag section .
The
group are interested in regular sightings of large groups of untagged
kites, 10 or more, but not single
          sightings.

To
report a sighting click on the e-mail sign but do not change the subject as
  it will not get through.
